Genevieve Peterson Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Genevieve Peterson in Mendota, Illinois. Genevieve, born on October 20, 1927, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Harcourt and Beatrice Amanda MacNeill (Demaray); her husband Kenneth E. Peterson; and her sister Corinne Potter. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Peterson (Dorothy) of Westland and Martha Rhodes (Stephen) of Mustang, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Brian Rhodes (Aleasha), Robert Rhodes, Kristyn Gansen (Anton), Jill Bigelow (Jason) and Casey Conner (Scott).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Willow Brook Run Retirement Home (100 Delaware Crossing W, Delaware, OH 43015).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Willow Brook Christian Communities Tuition Assistance program.
