He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Schillinger and Ruth Schillinger (Myers); his children, Kim Chilvers (Clayton) of Norfork, AR, Dawn Dieter (Mark) of Ottawa, Kathy Schillinger of Mendota and Jeff Schillinger of Earlville; his grandchildren, Matt Dieter (Crystal), Kyle Dieter (Paige), Paul Schillinger and Elizabeth Schillinger; his great grandchild Emma Dieter; his wife Carole Auld; and his daughter-in-law Catherine Schillinger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Will County Farm Bureau Foundation for Educational Scholarships, Mendota First United Methodist Church, and Mendota Area Senior Services.
