He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Jay and Sarah Simpson (Hof); his wife Mary; his granddaughter Kaylee; and his brother Bill Simpson.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Simpson (Amanda) of Mendota, Douglas Simpson (Stephanie) of Spring Valley and Nicole West (Gary) of Mendota; his grandchildren, Brandon, Cheyenne (Dominic), Garrett, Katelyn, Amanda, Logan, Hunter and Aubrey; his great grandchildren, Beckham and Theodore; and his cousin Casandra Mitchell (Bill) of Earlville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Earlville Fire Department or the Earlville United Methodist Church.
