We bid farewell to Lucille Buettner of Mendota, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 23, 2025 at the age of 101. Lucille touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Althaus and Louise Althaus (Bauer); her brothers, Lester and Everette Althaus; and her great grandchild Charlee Ann Buettner.

She is survived by: her husband Clayton; her son Kenneth Buettner (Ruth) of LaMoille; her grandsons, Jeff Buettner of Oglesby, IL, Doug Buettner (Allison) of Mendota and Tim Buettner (Danielle) of Sublette; and her great grandchildren, Reiss, Ellyott and Abygail Buettner.
