We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2023, at the age of 13, Madison L. Baxa (Mendota, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Christopher Baxa of Compton and Amanda Baxa (Laster); her sister Brooklyn; her grandparents, Robert, Carole Laster of Davenport, IA., Denise, Dennis Ahrens of Davenport, IA., Norm and Sandie Baxa of Yorkville; her great-grandparent Jean Kostner of Medford, WI.; her aunts and uncles, Julie Joiner (Mike) of Davenport, IA., Sara Fessenden of Davenport, IA., Christopher Fessenden of Davenport, IA., Nathan Baxa (Sarah) of Yorkville and Adam Baxa (Shannon) of Yorkville; and her pet Greta.
She made drawings of horses, and during Covid spent time painting a variety of canvases for her family to enjoy.
