He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Scott and Wilma Scott (Schmidt); his daughter Stacy Scott Carreon; his grandson Anthony Arteaga; and his siblings, John Scott, Paul Scott, Richard Scott, Wanda Scott, Marsha Scott and Steve Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Scott; his daughters, Michelle Arteaga (Rudy) and Nicole Neal (Derek); his grandchildren, Christopher Carreon, Connor Carreon (Alaina), Briana Ganz (Nick), Nicholas Arteaga and Dylan Neal; and his siblings, Sue Scott, Edward Scott (Andi) and Amy Carter (Craig). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home (800 Monroe St, Mendota, IL 61342). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
