He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Sibigtroth and Marjorie Sibigtroth; his sister Barbara Sibigtroth; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Genore and Eugene Orndorff.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sibigtroth; his children, Justin Sibigtroth (Tina Dolder) and Karla Petersen (Adam Helm); his granddaughters, Lily and Raegan Petersen; his pet Holly; and his siblings, Linda Genore, Ralph Sibigtroth (Diana), Virginia Orndorff, David Sibigtroth (Merry), Michelle Steinkamp (Thomas), Charles Sibigtroth (Barbara) and Thomas Sibigtroth (Karen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rich's memory may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
