He was predeceased by: his parents, George Criss and Mary Criss (Manning); his siblings, Martha, Daisy, Marian, Lucille, Beverly and Bruce; and his sons, Robert, Jeffrey and Bradley.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sharp; his grandson Ryne; his son Deric (Kerry Johnson) of Chicago; his daughter-in-law Dena Criss of Marion; his sister Georgia Faga; and his grandson Robert Ryne Criss.
