He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Fred and Emma Krenz (Gower); his wife Marilyn J. Walton; and his grandsons, Jake McGaughey, Keith and Kenny Krenz.

He is survived by: his children, Dr. James F. Krenz (Susan) of Mendota, Dr. Jon C. Krenz (Kim) of Mendota and Cathy McGaughey (James A.) of Villa Grove; his grandchildren, Jessica Richards (Dane) of Toulon, Carrie Kiser (Nathan) of Villa Grove, Seth McGaughey (Amy) of Villa Grove and Dr. Trip Krenz (Jessie) of Denver; and his great grandchildren, C. J., Will, Gavin, Piper, Cameron and Elliot. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to: First United Methodist Church, Illinois Valley Animal Rescue, Mendota Booster Club or Mendota Area Senior Services.
