He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Algiere and Bertha Algiere (Kotes); his brothers, Joseph and Nick; and his loves, Helen Algiere and Pat Algiere.

He is survived by: his children, Julie Algiere of Shabbona, Jo-Lynn Truckenbrod of Mendota and Ralph Algiere (Kathy) of Fountain, CO.; his grandchildren, Miles Truckenbrod, Chelsi Cullen (Cory), Jade Reed (John), Taryn Algiere and Kailyn Carr (Dalton); his great grandchildren, William and Conner Reed; his siblings, Tom Algiere (Linda) of Westerly, RI. and Helen Nigreli (Dominic) of Westerly, RI.; and his sister-in-law Marie Algiere of Westerly, RI.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
