Wilma Jean Jacobs Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2025, at the age of 90, Wilma Jean Jacobs (Mendota, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Brown and Blanche Brown; her husband Richard Jacobs Sr. (Dick); her siblings, William (Stanley), Delbert, Paul, Jesse Brown, Leona Ellis and Helen Anderson; and her grandson Chad Sondgeroth.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Jacobs Jr. (Karen) of Montello, WI, Terry Jacobs (Wanda) of Pearland, TX, Sandra Sondgeroth (Tom) of Mendota and Connie Zimmer (Rick) of El Mirage, AZ.; her grandchildren, Staci Shrimplin (Kenny), Candee Lawrence (Nick), Kelsey Greer (C. J.), Jessica Sondgeroth, Janelle Spiegelhalter, Joshua Sondgeroth, Stephanie Jones and Tonya Jones; her great grandchildren, Ragen Leopold, Karli Forbes, Kenzi Shrimplin, Zaden, Brenley Greer, Clara, Ellie Spiegelhalter, Bodhi Tillman, Abigayle, Jacob Orndorff, Nicholas Egerstaffer and Isabella Jones; her great great grandchildren, Jensen and Eliza Leopold; her sister-in-law Lois Ridge; her close friend Shirley Jackson; and her nieces, Becky Valdez (Tommy) and Wanda Booth (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
