It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Newman of Meredosia, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robinson and Bertha Irene Berry; her husband Larry "Joe" Newman; her son Richard Newman Sr.; her grandson Alex Newman; her sister-in-law Rosemary Stephenson; her nephew Tom Newman; and her son-in-law Steven B. Ladely.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Newman (Liz) of Meredosia, Randy Newman (Tammy) of Meredosia and Lisa Newman Ladely (Stan Buhlig) of Meredosia; her brother Trevor Berry (Sandra) of Wigan, England; her nieces, JoAnn Ensor of Wigan, England, Andrea Kinsella of Wigan, England and Adrian Berry of Wigan, England; and her grandchildren, Nicole Newman (Robert Van Meter) of Hannibal, MO, Richard A. Newman Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Jesse Joe Meyers (Dereka Johnson) of Meredosia, Ethan D. Myers (Dawn) of Meredosia and Kristi Newman Smith (Tim) of Jacksonville. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
