Norma Jean Staake Schweer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Staake Schweer of Meredosia, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Werries and Ruth Werries (Hildebrand); her husband Leland Herman Staake; her son John Staake (Mary Lou Staake); her granddaughter Angela Staake; and her siblings, Mary Kaltschnee, Marvin Werries and Robert Werries.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Staake (Christine) of Meredosia and Ron Staake (Paulette) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Alicia Rathgeb, Erin Betsinger (Morgan), Brandon Staake (Carlee), Chelle Holmes (Matt), Stacey Mackey (Andrew), Jerrod Staake (Cindy) and Beth Staake; and her sister Betty Kleinlein (late Paul) of Chambersburg. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
