He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Minner and Edith Sparrow Minner. He is survived by: his wife Joan A. VanDeVeer; his sons, Stephen Minner (Judy) of East Peoria and David Minner (Trina) of Moorseville, IN; his grandchildren, Daniel Minner (Jacki) of Moorseville, IN, Michael Minner (Jamie) of Clayton, IN, Robert Minner (Tina) of Peoria Heights, Megan Curtale (Spencer) of Brimfield and William Minner (Kasey) of Morton; and his brother Fred Minner (Wilma). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
