He was predeceased by: his father Richard E. Whitby; and his grandfather Murel Jackson. He is survived by: his mother Anita A. Whitby Jr. (White) of Metamora, IL; his children, Caio Whitby (Summer Bath) of East Peoria, IL, Carmen Whitby of Normal, IL, Isabella Whitby of Metamora, IL and Laila Bridges of Maplewood, MN; his grandson Demari Whitby; his siblings, Fredrick Whitby of East Peoria, IL and Jessica Leach (David) of Metamora, IL; his grandmother Shirley Jackson of Metamora, IL; and his uncles, Grady Jackson of Metamora, IL and Robert Whitby (Sue) of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by five nieces and four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61637.
