David L. Yergler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Yergler of Metamora, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Max L. Yergler; and his wife Karen L. Geiger. He is survived by: his mother Donna L. Yergler (Baurer) of Morton; his daughters, Genae Andris (Eric) of Dunlap, Micah Pitner (Keith) of Goose Creek, Emalee Mills (Joshua) of San Diego and Makenna Yergler of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Joelle Andris, Weston Andris, Ember Andris, Evelyn Pitner, Milo Pitner, Zane Mills, Ian Mills, Silas Mills and Calvin Mills; and his siblings, Julie Gasick (Mark) of Coatesville, Indiana, Daren Yergler (Yuki) of Tremont and Derek Yergler (Bo Youn) of Eugene, Oregon..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethany Community Church (27265 Dutch Ln, Washington, IL 61571). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (701 Coal Bank Rd, Metamora, IL 61548).
