He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence A. Wheeler and Cora M. Wheeler (Jacobson); his son-in-law Mark Napoleon; and his siblings, Margaret, Mary Ellen and Lawrence Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa M. "Gus" Eaton of Metamora; his children, Vicki Napoleon of Wheeling, IL, Donald "Rick" Wheeler (Carrie) of Fort Worth, TX and Sheri Mathus of Wilmington, IL; his grandchildren, Jacquie Tejeda (Fil), Ryan Wheeler (Melissa), Khyle Wheeler, Taylor Mathus, Gabriel Mathus and Daxton Wheeler; and his brother-in-law Alan Harkrader of Peoria, IL.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
