She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse C. Sanderson and Frances Sanderson (Miller); her husband John A. Crone; her grandson Michael Crone; and her sisters, Helen Molter, Marcella Carty, Mildred Bailey, Eloise Filzen and Patricia Shea.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Crone (Pam) of Andrews, IN, Anita Plautz (Dale) of Huntley, IL, David Crone (Claire) of Peoria, IL, Steven Crone (Lea) of Roanoke, IL and Karen Doremus (Todd) of Brighton, MI; and her sister Jeanette Griffith of Eureka, IL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (415 W Chatham St, Metamora, IL 61548). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (400 W Chatham St, Metamora, IL 61548).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mary's School, 400 West Chatham Street, Metamora, IL 61548 or to Snyder Village Residents-In-Need Fund, 1200 East Partridge Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
