She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Basinger and Mavis Basinger (Taylor); her husband Eugene B. Hoffer; her brothers, Carl Edward Basinger and Denzil "Buddy" Basinger; and her siblings-in-law, Denae Basinger and Ivan Chenault.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sandee Chenault, Dale Basinger (Brenda), Ruth Sumner, Carol Basinger, Beverly Giffin (Duane) and Linda Dicker (Brent); her children, Ed Hoffer (Amanda) of East Peoria and Mary Cabell (Jason) of Metamora, Illinois.; and her grandchildren, Joey, Cole, Evan, Laura and Owen.
