We bid farewell to Kenneth Doudera of Metamora, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 11, 2025 at the age of 95. Kenneth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Doudera and Florence "Irene" Doudera (Organ); his wife Shirley Doudera (Winegarner); his daughter Betty Kaufmann; and his brother Thomas Doudera (Bill).
He is survived by: his sister Evelyn Ruckman (Kenny) of Downey, CA; his children, Sherry Anderson of Forest Hill, MD, Carol Parish (Dan) of Troy, OH and Jim Doudera of North Pekin, IL; his son-in-law Greg Kaufmann of Metamora, IL.; and his grandchildren, Cindy White (Ronnie), Scott Anderson (Courtney), Alesia Haley (Brad), Nathan Kaufmann (Amy), Robert Parish (Anna) and Melissa Parish. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory (2075 Washington Rd, Washington, IL 61571). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Snyder Village "Resident In Need Fund" in Metamora or to Sunnyland Christian Church in Washington.
