He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Dean and Malissa Dean (McCauley); his wife Kathleen E. Rohman; his son Edward Dean; and his siblings, Clarice Rasbid, Mae Gall, Carol Starovasnik, Rita Gibson, Norman Dean, John Dean, Dale Dean and Kenneth Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Dean (Linda) of Lowpoint, IL, Marcia Staples (Gary) of Peoria, IL and Roger Dean of Metamora, IL; and his grandchildren, Paul Dean (Beth), Patrick Dean (Amber) and Alison Staples (Kevin Reynolds). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
