She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, John Schmutz and Edna Christensen Schmutz; her husband Robert Meis of Mark's Catholic Church; and her children, Kathy Steele (Richard) of Metamora, Kevin Meis (Cindy) of Peoria and Jackie Catton (Jerry) of Arkansas. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
