He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. and Mary L. Bernius (McClaugherty); and his siblings, Candi Vincent, Bobby Bernius and Bradley Bernius, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Leavitt of Metamora; his sister Sherri Bernius of Amarillo, TX; and his friend Terry Greeson of Tulsa, OK.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel (219 E Partridge St, Metamora, IL 61548). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
