With solemn reverence, we commemorate Alan Young of Metropolis, Illinois, whose life came to an end on December 7, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brasher and Dorothy L. Young (Sielbeck); and his grandparents, Willie G., Alice Sielbeck (Melcher), Ellis and Mattie Young (Allgood).
He is survived by: his brother Paul Kelly Young (Judy); his sibling's children, Paul David Young (Rebecca) and Kelley Ann Young; his great-nephew Bryce Johnson (Kayley); his great-nieces, Cara Isabel Young and Emily Paige Young; Bryley Johnson and Bronx Johnson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2824 North Ave, Metropolis, IL 62960).
