Buddy Hall Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Buddy Hall of Metropolis, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Buddy left this world on May 22, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hall and Helen Hall Sr. (Cole); his wife Sherry J. Hall; his daughters, Bethany Hall, Joyce Ann Hall and Deanna Pierce; his grandson Lane Wolfe; and his siblings, Della Berkley, Carol McGowan, Ray "Possum" Hall, Frank Hall and Alfred Hall.

He is survived by: his children, Jo Dan White, Paula Hall, Jacqueline Dawn, Nathanael Hall III and Heather; his grandchildren, Charlie Jo Wheeler, Lucy Hall (Kelsey), Sherident Sims (John), McKenzie Wood, Chandler Miller, Jeffrey "Ty" Miller, Tayler Stewart and Ruby Jean Hall; and his sister Brenda Rust. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Loftus-McManus Funeral Homes Inc. (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960).
