It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Hunt of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Deborah Hunt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Meyer and Betty Jo Meyer Fritch (McDaniel); and her stepfather Dale Fritch. She is survived by: her pet Roscoe; her uncle Billy; her aunt Betty McDaniel; her stepsiblings, Yvonne Strater (John) and Ryan Fritch (Misty); her cousins, Robbin McDaniel, Zinda Baggett, Brian Baggett and Jeff Meyer (Jan); and her close friends, Barbara Nix, Mary Carrell, Mary Ann Mittendorf, Debbie Loven, Diane Leonard and Anna Jeffords.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
