He was predeceased by : his parents, Ervin Obermark and Esther Obermark (Horstman); his great grandchild Addy Grace Gaertner; and his siblings, Lula Grimes and Jesse Obermark.

He is survived by : his children, Laurie Sullenger and Eugene Huston; his grandchildren, Destini McPherson (Brandon), Paige Gaertner (Justin), Kelli Sullenger (Jeremy Johnson) and Zaylor Sullenger (Desiree); his great grandchildren, Serinity Sullenger, Callie Gaertner, Landry Gaertner, Haynes McPherson, Korbyn McPherson, Austin McPherson and A'Kynleigh Johnson; and his brothers, Paul Obermark (Cindy) and Dale Obermark (Florence). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
