We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2023, at the age of 86, Ernest Arvel Morris Jr. of Metropolis, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest A. Morris Sr. and Mary Opal Morris (Morefield); and his sister Sherry Hunt. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Morris; his sons, Alan Morris, Gary Morris and Todd Kattenbraker (Angela Weber); and his grandchildren, Ty Kattenbraker, Allie Morris and Brendon Weber.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Metropolis Rehab Center 2229 Metropolis Street, Metropolis, Illinois 62960.
