It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floy Hinners (Metropolis, Illinois), born in Anna, Illinois, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Hill and Oliver Hill; and her husband Edward J. Hinners. She is survived by : her children, Mary Ann Jacob (Paul) of Marion, IL and Doug Hinners (Andrew Mayberry) of Toronto, Canada; and her grandchildren, Emily Salz (Carl) of Austin, TX, Matt Jacob (Lindsey) of Fayetteville, NC, Sarah Crawford (Rodney) of Scottsdale, AZ, Abby Flannery (Josh) of Marion, IL and Rachel Ely (Drew) of Murfreesboro, TN. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
