He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Horton and Bobbie Adams Horton. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer L. Horton of Chicago, Illinois; and his siblings, Beth A. Simmons (Greg) of Boaz, Kentucky, Kent Horton of Chattanooga and Kevin Horton (Rita Siavelis) of Portland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
