She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Dees and Irene Dees (Bell); her husband Robert J. Woolard; her daughters, Lisa G. Woolard and Debra Joyce Woolard; and her brother David Dees.
She is survived by: her sister Mae Oliver; and her close friends, Marvin, Joyce Barnhill, Bob and Barbara Mizell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Loftus-McManus Funeral Homes Inc. (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Joyce's name to First Baptist Church, 307 Massac Creek Road, Metropolis, Illinois.
