She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hilgeman and Lillie Hilgeman; and her sisters, Ruth Schmidt, Melva Krueger and Ruby Arnesman.
She is survived by: her husband Lowell Henry; her children, Debbie Hillebrand (Mike) and Greg Henry (Kathy); her grandsons, Wesley Hillebrand (Presley), Zac Henry (Amber), Nate Hillebrand (McKell) and Eli Henry (Natalie); her great grandchildren, Bell, Landon, Leiden, Nolan, Samuel, Ledger, Oliver and Deacon; and her sister Mary Kennedy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lutheran Church (520 Ferry St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given in Martha's name to Lutheran Church of the Cross, 2601 North Avenue, Metropolis, IL 62960.
