We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mary Catherine Aguilar (Metropolis, Illinois). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander Schott and Frances Schott (Lance); and her significant other Rozendo Aguilar (Rozi). She is survived by : her children, Carl Max Staples (Shirley), Steven Staples (Michele), James Staples (Kristine), Jerald Staples and Donna Mason (Dave); her stepmother Alvera Schott; and her brothers, Ronald Sutliff and Morris A. Schott. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

A Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (315 E 3rd St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens (North Ave, Metropolis, IL 62960).
