With sadness, we share the passing of Rena (Hodge) Miller of Metropolis, Illinois. Rena, born on April 7, 1942, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. John L. Hodge and Helen Hodge; her husband Larry Ray Miller; and her son-in-law Chris Burgess. She is survived by: her children, Larry Dale Miller (Jennifer), John Miller (Lori) and Becky Burgess; her grandchildren, Cade Burgess, Kennedy Burgess, Keaton Burgess, Kalen Miller, Jake Miller, Autumn Henderson (Brandon) and Amber Miller; her great grandchildren, Maybree Henderson, Asher Henderson and Kaeson Burgess; and her siblings, Susie Munton (Gary), Cynthia Gramlich (Dean) and John Hodge (Rob). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Rena's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
