He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Anderson and Mary Anderson (Cole); and his brother Nathan Dale Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Anderson; his daughters, Debbie Bowling (William), Cheryl Leggett (Dale) and Angie Anderson; his grandchildren, Justin Williams (Cindy), Ashley York (Rusty), Christin Wadley (T. J.), Sarah Bowling, Amber Mullins (Ryan), Jeremy Leggett (Macy), Tyler Parr, Katie Parr and Haley Parr; and his siblings, Carl Wayne Anderson (Mary), Raymond Anderson Jr. (Barbara) and Linda Sue Tucker. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Loftus-McManus Funeral Homes Inc. (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given in Robert's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
