It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tammy Jean Patton of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Tammy Jean departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Tammy Jean may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Tammy Jean leaves behind.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jayne Record (Gary), Dawn Durham (Larry), Lynne Patton-Schlake (Randy) and Riley Patton (Leitha); and her significant other Bob Carr. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (2601 North Ave, Metropolis, IL 62960). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
