With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John P Schubbe (Midlothian, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 80. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judith Schubbe; his children, Tracy Schubbe, Joseph Schubbe (Peggy) and James Schubbe (Lynn); his grandchildren, Joey, Kamryn, Alexa and Paige; and his siblings, Eileen Silver and Joseph "Buddy" Schubbe.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hickey Memorial Chapels - Midlothian (4201 147th St, Midlothian, IL 60445). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
