With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Nitz (Milan, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on December 9, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake and Mary; and his father-in-law Joe. He is survived by: his wife Paula Nitz; his children, Kalli Anson (Mike), Sara Edwards (Adam) and Chad Nitz (Lydia Welch); his grandchildren, Laikynn, Brycin, Rilyn Anson, Adalyn and Austin Edwards; and his siblings, Sandy Wong (Eugene), Richard, Karen, Becky, Vicki, Jake Jr. and Doug.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Luli's (1213 10th Ave W, Milan, IL 61264).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in care of Paula Nitz in order to assist with family expenses. Memorials may be given directly to the family, left at the celebration of life or mailed to Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services, 2907 Mulberry Avenue, Muscatine, Iowa 52761.
