He was predeceased by: his parents, Sesco Hardesty and Mabel Hardesty (Danielson); his wife RoseMary Mulica; and his siblings, Steve Hardesty and Evangeline Johnston.
He is survived by: his sons, Donavon Hardesty (Kristin) and Mark Hardesty (Lori Border Thermos); and his grandchildren, Lori Rae Hardesty, Anthony Hardesty (Missi), Christina Jo Hardesty Wiese (Matthew), Jessica Rush (Anthony), De'siree'Tate and Angel Martin. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
