It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn M. Krebs of Milan, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, H. A. Priegnitz and Gertrude Priegnitz (Staffeldt); and her husband Jack. She is survived by: her children, Linda Johnson (Marc), Dennis Barkau (Diana), Michael Barkau (Ilene) and Linn Krebs (Kay); and her grandchildren, Eric Barkau, Timothy Krebs, Jeffery Barkau, Nathan Krebs, Cheryl Hayes, Gregory Barkau, Melissa Walker, Erin Linderman and Christopher Johnson. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to First Presbyterian Church Building and Maintenance Fund.
