It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern M. Wadsworth of Milan, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Layer and Magdalena Layer (Bartels); her husband David Wadsworth; her sons, Ronald and Larry Wadsworth; and her siblings, Joe Layer, Dorothy Layer, Margaret Jahn and Edna Pekrul.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Brown (Michael), Taylor Ridge, Gregory Wadsworth (Betty), Kathy May (Tom) and Debbie Leatherman (Scott). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
