With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen Skinner of Milan, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Helen left this world on October 6, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Shonts and Olga Shonts (Padavich); her husband Ron; her son Randy Skinner; and her brother Butch Shonts.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy; her son-in-law Michael Davis; her grandchildren, Heather Davis and Michael Davis Jr. (Cynthia); her great grandchildren, Broddie (Rachel), Gabby, Zippy, Rafi and Ethan; and her great great grandchild Lainey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rock Island Eagle's Club (5103 11th St, Rock Island, IL 61201).
