He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Fowler and Phyllis Dalton Fowler; and his brother John Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Ruth M. Karaway; his children, James Preston Fowler, Jonathan Fowler (Chelce) and Kathryn Greer; his grandchildren, Addisyn Mae Fowler and Lincoln Greer; and his brother Jerry Fowler (Mary).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family and Andalusia Community Baptist Church.
