He was predeceased by: his parents, August Posateri and Sylvia Posateri (Welch); and his siblings, LuAnne Ladenburg and Michael Posateri. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Rentfro; his children, Jamie Nelson (Michael) of Colona, Nick Posateri (Rachel) of Taylor Ridge and Dan Posateri (Brooke) of Albany, Illinois; his grandchildren, Grant Nelson, Skylynn, Bentley Posateri, Giana, Isaac Floming, Isabella, Lauren and Halle Posateri; and his sister Michol "Mick" Van DeWostine (Bryan) of Lynn Center, Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
