With sadness, we share the passing of Judith A McKinley (Milan, Illinois). Judith, born on April 20, 1934, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Pettit and Nettie Pettit (Dellitt); her son Joseph E.; and her grandson J. Leonard. She is survived by: her children, James E. McKinley (Evetta) of Omaha, NE, Patrick L. McKinley (Mary) of Crowne Point, IN, Sandra Isom and Laura Hozak (Terry); her daughter-in-law Sharon McKinley of Garner, NC; and her grandchildren, Scott, Michael, Grant, Adam McKinley, Matthew Hozak, James, Tony Isom, Melissa McKinley and DeEmma Fitzgerald. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Preemption United Methodist Church (2652 170th Ave, Preemption, IL 61276).
Memorials may be made to the Catfish Jazz Society Scholarship fund, or to the church.
