She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bates and Georgia Bates (Harris). She is survived by: her husband James Hoof; and her siblings, Rick Bates (Denise), Royce Bates Sr. (Perfecta), Milan, Randy Bates (Gayle) and Kayla Bates. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
