He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Foster and Charlotte Miner Foster; his wife Barbara "Barb" J. Hasson; and his daughter-in-law Kelly. He is survived by: his children, Jeanie Cassatt (Darryl), Greg Foster and Joanie Humphrey (Mark); and his grandchildren, Bill Hirth (Stacey), Julie Tompos (Michael), Katie Cassatt, Bradley Foster (Krystal), Ryan Foster (Lauren), Elizabeth Cook, Kristal Ziffer (Zach) and Joshua Humphrey (Hannah). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Church or to the family.
