She was predeceased by: her parents, Verney Bolander and Edith Bolander (Bagles); and her brothers, Samuel and Arthur. She is survived by: her children, Jean Whitmarsh, Raymond Eiland (Joyce), Lorrie Eiland, James Eiland, Leon Eiland (Billy Rose) and Kathy Bolander; her grandchildren, Tanya, Jessica, Bradley Noah, Natalie, Saylor and Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Ethan and Samantha.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the QC Animal Welfare Center, an organization that reflects Marlis's love for animals and her compassionate heart.
