Mary Ella Showalter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ella Showalter of Milan, Illinois, who passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bowling and Pearley Bowling (Baker); her husband Robert W. Showalter; her sons, Jerry Stafford, Scott Stafford and Mitch Showalter; and her siblings, Woodrow Bowling, Jackie Jones, Henry Lee Bowling, Matt Bowling, Jess Bowling, McKinley Bowling, Pauline Hoffman and Kathleen Schumacher.
She is survived by: her son Brian Showalter; her grandchildren, Chevy Showalter (Kristen) and Lily Showalter; her great grandchildren, Lakin Showalter and Lucas Showalter; and her sister Denise Anton (Don Kepple).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schroder Mortuary- Colona (213 1st St, Colona, IL 61241). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at the Greenview Memorial Gardens (1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244).
