He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bloomfield and Ellen Reed Bloomfield; his former spouse Marion Wuanita Cook; his wife Nancy Maude Pierce; and his siblings, Everett, Alvin, Edward, Willard, Lawrence, Ray, Richard, Mae, Catherine and Lucille.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Bloomfield (Georgia) of Milan, Bonnie DeBrobander (Dan) of Milan, Peggy Tapley (Greg) of Karnak, David Bloomfield and Melinda Reichert (Steve). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
